An extensive two-month voyage circling the Australian Coast was terminated following the fatal incident of an older female passenger who was abandoned by the cruise liner on a remote coastal location.

The elderly woman had been walking on the remote island with shipmates from the vessel, but parted ways from the excursion for a rest. The vessel departed without her and returned several hours later after the crew discovered the woman was unaccounted for.
