Authorities reported the 40-year-old media personality was approached by three individuals, with one began shooting at him before escaping on foot.

The Fatal Incident

Law enforcement said that Stock was ambushed as he was departing from a premises close to the Carlton Centre.

He had spent several hours at the site managing the installation of safety equipment, which had been controversially occupied by squatters, according to reports.

"Authorities believe the man was confronted by three unidentified men after he parked his car, and they began shooting at him before escaping on foot," authorities confirmed.

The DJ attempted to flee after he was shot but collapsed a short distance away.

Police added that Stock had an gun that was not fired and no items were stolen during the assault.
